PATRICK MONAGHAN

Architect Director

Patrick Monaghan is a practising chartered architect and partner in the London based practice of Bernard Stilwell Architects. After studying architecture in Brighton and London he worked in London and Manchester for RIBA Gold Medal and Stirling Prize winning practices, Powell & Moya and Hodder & Partners , before helping to set up his current practice in 1997.

Patrick has taught as a studio master at the University of Cambridge and at the University of Greenwich and been a visiting critic at the University of Westminster. Formerly a Governor of Middlesex University he is currently a Lead Examiner for the Architects Registration Board and a Chair member of the RIBA’s Education Validation Panel with whom he has visited and validated schools of architecture in the UK, South America and the Far East.
